STEP OEKO TEX (Sustainable Textile Production)
Glovesh is a sustainable gloves production facility certified under OEKO-TEX® STeP. This certification evaluates the sustainability performance of production facilities against comprehensive criteria, including environmental management, social responsibility, chemical management, quality assurance, and occupational health and safety.
Transformation to Sustainable Energy
Solar energy is a clean and renewable source of power that significantly reduces carbon emissions, making it an environmentally responsible energy solution. Glovesh currently utilizes 30% solar and renewable energy across its operations, supporting our commitment to lowering carbon emissions and promoting long-term sustainability.
PLANTATION DRIVES
Glovesh actively combats climate change through dedicated plantation drives within our facility and across Sialkot. So far, we have planted over 10,000 trees along road green belts and in public parks, contributing to urban restoration, improving air quality, and fostering a greener, healthier, and more sustainable community for residents.
WATER CONSERVATION
Glovesh is committed to sustainable water management. Groundwater usage at our facilities is closely monitored using flow meters to track and optimize consumption. Through these efforts, we aim to reduce water usage by 20%, contributing to responsible resource management and environmental sustainability.
